Miracles! Opening Night - Luke Aitken

Miracles! is a design futures exhibition curated by Product Design student Luke Aitken, showcasing speculative and critical design projects that challenge how we think about the future. Rather than predicting what’s to come or offering perfect solutions, Miracles! invites audiences to engage with “what if” scenarios, hypothetical futures that encourage reflection on the present. The exhibition features explorations and reimaginings into how materials, economies, and subcultures might evolve in the years ahead. From innovative ways of repurposing waste wool to the craft-based reinvention of street footballs and a speculative look at government-regulated drug production. Miracles! is an invitation to examine the possible, the plausible, and the absurd in order to better understand the decisions shaping our world today.
