I DARE YOU TO LOVE ME - Lilian Evans and Aliya Prichard-Casey

An invitation - or a dare of sorts - to love, lust, and long for the side of a lorry.

I DARE YOU TO LOVE ME is the second edition in the collaborative series produced by curator Aliya Prichard-Casey and artist Lilian Evans. The exhibition comprises Evans’ site-specific installations created from discarded lorry curtain and industrial debris, a series of confessional written works, and a fanatic video montage.

Revolving around her methodology of desire, Evans’ practice sits in the space between wanting and possessing as she seeks to express her obsessive desire for the side of a lorry. Her works, constructed with intuition, compulsion, and lust, are in essence, desire made manifest.
